Good Samaritan Rehabilitation & Training Centre
At Good Samaritan Rehabilitation and Training Centre (GSRTC), we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live with dignity, independence, and hope.
Our Story
GSRTC is a unique and pioneering residential rehabilitation and training centre under Samaritan Trust (Reg. No. 99/IV/17), the social and charitable wing of the CST Fathers of St. Thomas Province, Kozhikode. Operational since 15 August 2024, the Centre is located at Thalavil, Chapparapadavu, Kannur, Kerala, and is dedicated to serving paraplegics, stroke survivors, accident survivors, and persons with disabilities through comprehensive rehabilitation and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
What makes GSRTC unique is its integrated rehabilitation model, bringing together medical rehabilitation, physiotherapy, occupational therapy, vocational skill training, psychosocial support, and employment assistance under one roof. This holistic approach enables beneficiaries to regain confidence, achieve independence, and successfully reintegrate into society.
Guided by our conviction that no one should be denied the opportunity to rebuild their life because of financial hardship, all services at GSRTC are provided completely free of cost to deserving beneficiaries. Through the generous support of our donors and well-wishers, we ensure that financial constraints never become a barrier to quality rehabilitation, skill development, or a life of dignity.
Inspired by our guiding principle, “Do Not Grow Weary in Doing Good” (Galatians 6:9), we combine compassionate care with professional excellence in a barrier-free and inclusive environment. At GSRTC, we do more than restore mobility—we restore hope, dignity, purpose, and the confidence to embrace life again.
